Mobland, originally named SYN.CITY, the first Mafia-themed metaverse, has confirmed a partnership and exchange placement with Bybit.

In the Mobland metaverse, players will soon be able to buy a Bybit headquarters facility as an NFT. The collaboration’s announcement was with the opening of the Mobland launchpool on Bybit.

First Centralized Exchange on Mobland

In fact, Mobland’s launchpool went live on February 18. Moreover, it garnered over 30 thousand individuals and over $100 million in total value locked (TVL) all in the first 12 hours. Furthermore, to cement the alliance, Bybit will construct its own Bybit headquarters inside Mobland. It will also enter the metaverse where it will do business. The Bybit headquarters will house several enterprises owned by community residents who will earn money by partaking in and using the services.

The Bybit enterprise inside Mobland’s metaverse is a crucial distinction in the industry. As the two industry titans are bringing the notion of the GameFi 2.0 metaverse to reality. The Mobland-Bybit partnership’s announcement was shortly after Bybit agreed to sign a $150 million multi-year partnership agreement with one of the top Formula One teams, Oracle Red Bull Racing. This demonstrates Bybit’s commitment to growth and raising adoption for other demographics.

Bybit’s head of communications, Igneus Terrenus, stated that the collaboration with Mobland was the company’s newest step into the metaverse, complete with a digital headquarters. According to Terrenus, blockchain games have a long history of compromising the fun aspect for the ‘earn’ portion. However, he noted that Bybit pleasantly sees Mobland’s answer with their humorous and entertaining entrance. Because they want to provide an offer that Godfather fanatics can’t refuse.

Mobland has pioneered a new governing structure known as Mafia-as-a-DAO (MaaD). MaaD incentivizes participants by permitting them to form criminal networks or join existing cartels. With each syndicate able to build its own governance system linked to Mobland’s governing board. Mobland was established by a group of professional developers from firms like Ubisoft, Disney, EA, Roblox, and Gameloft.
