Axie Infinity’s NFT Sales Top $4B

It was this week that Axie Infinity, a blockchain-based online video game made by the Vietnamese software company Sky Mavis, sold more than $4 billion worth of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). It’s now the third-largest NFT platform in terms of all-time sales, thanks to the play-to-earn (P2E) game that was launched in 2018.

$4B NFT Sales

There has been a lot of interest in the video game Axie Infinity over the last year because the P2E pet training world has seen a lot of growth. Game currency Axie Infinity (AXS) has risen 2,544 percent against the U.S. dollar over the last year, which is a lot of money.

However, smooth love potion hasn’t been so lucky and is down 70% in value so far this year. Today, there are 53,502 AXS token owners, and out of 166,870 Axies, there are 45,276 Axie owners.

This week, NFT stats show that Sky Mavis’ project has sold more than $4 billion worth of NFTs. It costs $198.77 to buy a piece of Axie Infinity today, and so far, there have been 1,905,222 people who’ve bought one.

As of this writing, Axie Infinity is the third-largest NFT project in terms of all-time sales. At the time of this writing, the project had about $4.14 billion in all-time sales. Sales of NFTs in the game are less than those of Opensea and Looksrare.

Axie NFT Sales Fell by 40%

An Ethereum-based project called Axie Infinity is used to run this game. The game also runs on the Ronin network, which allows the network to grow without having to pay high fees or deal with congestion. At the time of this writing, the cross-chain Ronin Bridge has $3.3 billion in total-value locked. It has dropped 15% since last week, when it had $4.1 billion.

In terms of volume, Katana is the fourth largest decentralized finance (DeFi) exchange based on the Ronin platform. Katana has made $30.8 million in trades in the last 24 hours and has $475 million in cash.

All-time sales of Axie Infinity NFT have passed the $4 billion mark. During the last seven days, sales have gone down by about 40%. AXS has made $19,815,670 in sales through the Ronin blockchain in the last week. Axie NFTs were bought by 91,940 people in 267,906 transactions last week.

In the last 24 hours, Axie NFT has sold $2.2 million worth of goods to 17,731 buyers. In terms of all-time sales, Axie is the fourth-largest. It’s also the fourth in 24 hours and fifth in the last seven days. Over the last month, Axie came in eighth out of the top ten projects for sales of 30-day NFTs.
